RTLAdConnect is the international total video sales house of RTL Group. We provide simplified access to all of RTL Group’s total video portfolio as well as from external mandates like itv in the UK or RAI in Italy across a sum of 12 markets, over 100 TV channels and 300 online platforms. Our job is to deliver exclusive advertising solutions in safe premium digital and broadcast media environments to millions of potential customers across Europe – every day.

Your challenge:

- Supporting the Sales Director, Digital Sales Director and Sales team, working closely with clients and media agencies.
- Lead generation and acquisition activities, scheduling appointments.
- Trade fair preparation and follow-up, client events, sales meetings.
- Preparation of meetings with clients and agencies as well as internal sales.
- Preparation of presentations and proposals in coordination with the Sales team.
- Client service and support.
- Campaign Management: Booking & Follow-up.
- Organization and completion of sales support activities (mailings).
- Care of the CRM (input, update of the database, reports).
- General Office Management.

Your profile:

- Completed commercial training with 2 years professional experience or degree with a focus on sales / marketing, media, advertising.
- First experience in Media (agency or sales house) desirable and/or experience in the sales assistance, organization, marketing in an international company.
- Interest in TV and advertising, affinity for new media.
- Fluent in Dutch and in English (mandatory), additional languages a plus.
- Independent and goal-oriented approach.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office especially PowerPoint.
- Team spirit and distinctive personality

International Sales Manager, United States

You are highly motivated in selling our portfolio (TV, digital and radio) to international media agencies and advertisers in a defined sales territory. Under the leadership of the Sales Director you will work closely with the international sales and marketing team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Selling the total video portfolio of  RTL AdConnect to clients & agencies
  • Developing a portfolio of Advertisers to grow revenues for both TV and Digital media
  • Sourcing and converting new advertisers to become key new repeat clients
  • Presenting our digital and TV portfolio to clients and agencies
  • Responsible for cross media-sales
  • Analysis of clients’ media and communication strategies, consultancy
  • Evangelize our digital knowledge and position externally on the market and    internally (classical TV sales team)
  • Preparing presentation alongside the Marketing team
  • Preparing quotes, reporting and control of orders
  • Interact with our local TV and digital partners
  • Generating new creative sales ideas for our solutions Tea
  • Attend key industry events to represent RTL AdConnect and develop knowledge
  • You will be expected to travel


  • A media experience of 7-10 years
  • College or university degree
  • 1stexperience preferably in a media agency or broadcast media
  • Broadcast and digital media knowledge
  • An existing network of contacts in the advertising community
  • Proven new business track record
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoy working with clients
  • Analytical thinking, good presentation skills, well structured and team-based work
  • Enthusiasm for the international TV and radio markets, online affinity
  • Fluent English, other languages desirable
  • Enthusiastic positive outlook

Key responsibilities:

  • Acting as an extension of the sales team by assisting sales development, preparing presentations and offers, organizing meeting request and follow up
  • Build and maintain close relationships with all key agencies and direct clients
  • Interacting with various internal departments based in Europe (especially with the Marketing department)
  • Providing clients with excellent service and support
  • Ensuring all work is completed in a timely fashion and to a high standard

Your profile:

  • Experience working 3-5+ years in agencies/sales houses
  • Must have TV and digital knowledge
  • Willing to work in an international environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solver with the ability to ‘think outside the box’
  • Highly organized with the ability to successfully multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Foreign language skills are a plus
