From 11 June 2018, RTL Radio (France) and its sports department, managed by Christian Ollivier, and editorial department are getting ready for the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia.
Journalists, experts and commentators in Russia and Paris will provide full coverage of the World Cup with reports, interviews, reactions and the atmosphere in and around the stadiums.
From 11 June to 15 July 2018, RTL Radio is changing its programme schedule and devoting its evenings, including Saturdays and Sundays, to the World Cup. Eric Silvestro, Sylvain Charley and Bertrand Latour will be going live from 20:00 in Le Club RTL Mondial 2018 (The RTL 2018 World Cup Club): all the news on the World Cup, a daily update on Les Bleus (the French national team), the matches and backstage, broken down and analysed by RTL Radio experts and journalists. With Bixente Lizarazu, 1998 World Cup Champion and renowned expert advisor for RTL Radio, Philippe Sanfourche and Nicolas Georgereau on the days the French team will play, Hugo Amelin on the main fixtures, reports from Sina Mir and Bruno Derrien, RTL Radio’s referee to resolve all referee-related issues.
Bixente Lizarazu will also offer his experience and analysis in his daily feature during the 8:00 news. Every morning from 6:45, Pascal Praud will be joining the Club des Experts (The Experts Club) in RTL Petit Matin presented by Julien Sellier with Le Praud du mondial (Praud’s World Cup) to provide his analysis of the matches from 11 June until 15 July 2018, while on Saturdays from 18:30 to 20:00 in On refait le Mondial! (The World Cup again!), Pascal Praud will devote his programme to the events of the World Cup.
