Nominations For German Television Awards

Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland channels has received nine nominations, and UFA productions five nominations in various categories in the competition for the 2019 German Television Awards. The awards have been presented since 1999 by ARD, RTL, Sat.1, and ZDF to honor outstanding achievements in television.

The nominees for the 2019 German Television Awards have been announced – and, of course, Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland channels as well as UFA productions are once again in the competition for the country’s most important television awards. Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland has prospects to win nine awards, and UFA productions received five nominations.

The German Television Awards have been presented since 1999 by ARD, RTL, Sat.1, and ZDF to honor outstanding achievements for television. The 20th presentation of the German Television Awards will take place on January 31 in Düsseldorf. The 14-strong expert panel of judges is chaired by the former UFA CEO Wolf Bauer.
