Premium, transparent & brand safe, the three promises of the Video Marketplace, by RTL AdConnect. In a response to growing concerns around brand safety, RTL AdConnect launched its VMP, one unique gateway giving international advertisers direct access to RTL Group’s entire digital ecosystem.
The unique offer gives brands or their agencies to reach the audiences of 12 countries in total, through a single buy. It covers a decent chunck of their digital advertising needs, providing an inventory of the best TV brands and influencer content across a range of distribution platforms, TV channels, VOD platforms, YouTube and more than 1,300 premium publishers from the platforms SpotX and Smartclip.
The ambition is to provide brands and agencies more scale and real choice, breaking the stranglehold of US tech giants. VMP is the first programmatic platform to give advertisers access to audiences around the world, in a one-stop-shop solution, also available via managed services.
The Video Marketplace is made-up of three products:
1. AdPremium: The best of broadcast VOD
AdPremium offers access the VOD services from RTL Group’s families of channels and also from RTL AdConnect’s partners (IT, RAI, Medialaan, Goldbach Media): long and short-form on-demand platforms that ensure total brand safety for advertisers. This offer guarantees more than 2.8 billion monthly video views, over 100 million unique users per month, in 12 coutries.
2. AdAffinity: Influencers’ YouTube channels pre-rolls, mid-rolls and post-rolls
The AdAffinity product provides access to videos around influencers and talents on MPNs (Multi-Platform Networks) such as StyleHaul (6,500 talents), Divimove (1,200 talents), Broadband TV (85,000 talents), Golden Network (from Groupe M6 in France), or RTL MCN (from RTL Nederland)and counts 41 billion monthly video views. This offer allows advertisers to hand pick premium YouTube channels with a high level of transparency.
3. AdExtension: Access to digital audience extension
This offer includes the inventory sold via the platforms SoptX and Smartclip, two established international players for programmatic sales of online video advertising. Both platforms give access to the inventory of over 1,000 premium content publishers, which represent 39 billion monthly video views, 800 million unique visitors accross more than 190 countries, enabling data insights to enhance quality and performances on customised targets groups.
